Christopher Dennis has a history of serving the community and leading the charge to empower youth and underprivileged individuals to change their circumstances and lead a life of greatness. As a passionate philanthropist and community activist, Christopher devotes his time and energy to many charitable causes.
As the owner of eFix Housing Solutions, a community focused redevelopment company located in Charlotte, NC, Dennis develops low income communities by increasing stakeholders through home ownership. This mission developed out a passion to be an advocate for low income communities to fight against gentrification.
Dennis was appointed by the mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina to serve on the Mecklenburg
County Housing Appeals Board. His passion for serving the community motivates him to serve on various boards that positively impact the Charlotte community such as Leadership Charlotte, Johnston YMCA Board, the North End Partners Board, and a host of other civic boards and committees.
Furthering his passion to serve, Dennis founded Community Dream Builders (501c3), which provides support and funding to low income neighborhoods in fragile communities within the North End Corridor. Dennis is also the founder of the annual North Carolina Music Factory 5K Rock N Run, which was created to promote community health awareness, develop alliances with area businesses and create a social and economic impact in the North End Corridor. This event has had over 5,000 participants within the last two years.
